Job Description
Cadence is seeking a Lead Application Engineer for Verification to work closely with the Sales team, identify opportunities, and manage technical evaluations. The role involves training customers, providing expert technical support, and aligning with engineering on product improvements. Candidates need a BS in CS or EE with 6+ years of industry experience in verification/prototyping, knowledge of Linux and Tcl, and good program/engagement management skills.
Good To Have:
- Hands-on experience on SOC Emulation/Acceleration, Hybrid solution, UVM, Verification IPs or Transactors.
- Familiar with Simulator (IES, VCS, etc).
- Some experiences of emulator/accelerators (PXP, Zebu, Veloce).
Must Have:
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify and scope opportunities for Cadence Verification Division’s products.
- Plan, execute and manage key technical evaluations and benchmarks.
- Train, ramp-up and accompany customer project.
- Conduct basic and advanced trainings, presentations and demos.
- Provide technical expertise to address clients’ queries.
- Align closely with corporate engineering and sales/marketing team on customer requirement for product direction/improvement.
- Possess minimum BS level of CS or EE with 6+ years of industry experience.
- Minimum 6+ years experiences in Verification/Prototyping and consumer application design/debugging by EDA solution.
- Knowledge of Linux and tcl.
- Good program/engagement management skill.
- Effective team player and good relationship with co-workers, willing to learn.
- Good communication skills in English and a strong desire for working in a global environment.
- Current passport is required with no travel limitations.
