THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Build Engineer to drive the architecture, development, and continuous improvement of our build and CI/CD infrastructure. This role will lead a small, focused team of engineers and own the strategy and execution of scalable systems using Perforce, Jenkins, and Nexus/Artifactory. You will be instrumental in evolving our current tooling to meet the growing demands of our development and production pipelines.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of 5 build engineers.
- Provide architectural guidance and establish best practices for CI/CD and build systems.
- Conduct regular 1:1’s, performance reviews, and foster professional growth.
- Design and evolve build systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and automation.
- Maintain and improve Jenkins pipelines for various projects and platforms.
- Manage and optimize artifact storage and distribution via Nexus or Artifactory.
- Oversee Branching strategies and integrations in Perforce.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the build and deployment processes.
- Champion automation initiatives and integrate quality checks throughout the pipeline.
- Collaborate with QA, Development, and Release teams to align on delivery goals.
- Evaluate and introduce new tools or enhancements to the existing stack.
- Plan and execute migration or upgrade strategies with minimal disruption.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in build engineering or DevOps roles, with 2+ years in a lead or senior position.
- Strong expertise in Perforce administration, branching strategies, and stream depots.
- Proven experience in architecting and maintaining Jenkins pipelines (scripted or declarative).
- In-depth knowledge of Nexus or Artifactory for binary/artifact management.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy.
- Experience with Windows and Linux build environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience in the games industry or working with large digital content repositories.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and/or infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Knowledge of cloud based CI/CD environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Compensation:
- This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.
In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
