Inc. seeks Lead Database Engineer in Bellevue, WA:
Job Duties: Perform production operational day-to-day activities including monitoring and DB performance, DB releases, patching, backup, and maintenance. Configure and maintain Oracle Clusters environments (RAC) and Replication environments (Data Guard) and other database infrastructures. Design, build, automate and deploy highly available, robust, resilient and secure database solutions. Design and scale out services in our multi-tenant infrastructure. Collaborate with multiple teams to make sure that the infrastructure and the applications that depend on it work harmoniously together. Document all operational processes and procedures to optimize support and management of deployed systems. Adopt, embrace, and promote agile practices. Perform Design/Code reviews. Develop test strategies, build automation framework, write unit and functional tests to build solid test coverage. Contribute towards new and ongoing Technology projects in areas of Scalability, Performance and High Availability and Automation. Collaborate with Architects, performance engineers and system administrators on database and system optimizations. Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) RDS, (2) Amazon Redshift, (3) DynamoDB, (4) Glue, (5) Athena, (6) Lambda, (7) SNS, (8) SQS, (9) S3, (10) Kinesis. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
Salary: $185,058.00 - $253,000.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $185,058 to $253,000.
