The architect will serve as a trusted advisor to customers' Enterprise Architects and Business Stakeholders, providing best practices for enterprise architecture functions like Security, Performance, Development Process, and Application Governance. Responsibilities include advising and mentoring diverse teams, contributing to program vision, guiding application and integration development, troubleshooting implementation issues, and managing customer expectations.
Must have:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and drive conversations with customers Enterprise Architects and Business Stakeholders.
  • Advise and mentor diverse teams in technical and functional delivery aspects at a program level.
  • Contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies.
  • Provide guidance on application and integration development with best practices and Enterprise Architecture standards.
  • Drive the creation of application and technical design documents leveraging Salesforce best practices.
  • Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and drive to successful resolution.
  • Lead the evaluation of business and technical requirements from a senior level.
  • Review and correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts.
  • Identify and proactively manage risk areas with a commitment to complete resolution.
  • Manage customer expectations, negotiating solutions to complex problems.
  • Build relationships with business partners, internal and external.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Services Practice by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as an active contributor to the practice knowledge and resource base.
  • Mentor, educate, and enrich technical and non-technical Salesforce customer and partner colleagues.

Job Duties:

Serve as a trusted advisor and drive conversations with our customers Enterprise Architects and Business Stakeholders armed with best practices for enterprise architecture functions such as Security, Performance, Development Process, and Application Governance. Advise and mentor diverse teams, which include customer and partner resources in technical and functional delivery aspects at a program level, using influence and adaptive communication strategies in scenarios where Senior Architect does not have direct authority overall resources. Contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies including the Salesforce Platform. Provide guidance on application and integration development with the best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and Salesforce Platform education. Drive the creation of application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce into the customers’ infrastructure. Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and demonstrate ability to drive to successful resolution. Lead the evaluation of business and technical requirements from a senior level. Review and correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward. Identify and proactively manage risk areas with a commitment to seeing an issue through to complete resolution. Manage customer expectations, while negotiating solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners. Build relationships with business partners, internal and external, and contributing to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single customer engagement. Contribute to the growth of the Services Practice by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice, leveraging junior teammates to achieve individual as well as team growth. Serve as an active contributor to the practice knowledge and resource base, while mentoring, educating, and enriching technical and non-technical Salesforce customer and partner colleagues. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. May travel to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year bachelor’s degree.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements:

(1) Java; (2) Golang; (3) SQL; (4) Python; (5) C; (6) C++; (7) HTML; (8) JS; (9) Spring Boot; and (10) Postgres SQL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. May travel to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year bachelor’s degree.

Salary: $184,000.00 - $276,100.00 per annum.
