A Bit About You:

We are looking for a smart and passionate Lead Frontend Developer who will fit right into our dynamic, collaborative work culture.

Your average day as a Frontend Competence Lead will involve building scalable web applications, setting up new tools for task automation and monitoring and optimizing infrastructure. You will be given significant ownership and the associated liberty to implement your ideas and best practices. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of frontend developers in designing and implementing web-based applications that meet the needs of clients and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the frontend development team and mentor junior developers.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end architectures.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in front-end development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Enhance the developer experience (DX) by improving tooling, processes, and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer or in a similar role, with the majority of experience gained from start-ups and product companies.
• Extensive experience with Next.js and modern front-end development practices
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture and design patterns such as JAM and BFF.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js and Next.js
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with GIT version control systems and GitHub actions.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Deep understanding of the full Frontend Developer Experience (DX) and how to optimize it.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Next.js architecture such as SSR and SSG.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques.
