Must have:

We’re looking for an Engineer with strong front-end expertise and a collaborative mentality. You’ll play a key role in crafting user experiences, mentoring developers, and contributing to the delivery of scalable, maintainable solutions.

The Role

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer (UI), you will:

In this role, you’ll take ownership of crafting and developing modern, responsive user interfaces using React or similar JavaScript frameworks. Your deep understanding of web development will be key to architecting and implementing user journeys that align with both business objectives and user needs.

You’ll play a central role in guiding and supporting engineers through code reviews, technical planning, and mentoring, helping to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Working closely with product and delivery teams, you’ll contribute to shaping solutions for Epics and driving their successful implementation.

As a senior lead, you’ll balance hands-on development with oversight of team delivery, adapting and evolving design patterns to ensure robust, maintainable solutions. You’ll promote an inclusive and open team culture, building positive relationships across domains and communicating technical concepts clearly to a variety of audiences.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Good experience in software development and delivery, with a focus on UI and front-end technologies.
  • Significant expertise in React or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead development and design of user interfaces and journeys.
  • Experience with multiple development technologies and understanding of design patterns and anti-patterns.
  • Ability to mentor others and review code to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working in agile environments and contributing to planning and delivery.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to Business and Technical Analysis, QA, delivery management, or new technologies.
  • Familiarity with governance practices and cross-domain collaboration.

Education & Qualifications

  • A qualification in Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
