Job Description

As the Leadership Development Lead, you will set the enterprise leadership development strategy and lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning experiences that build a strong, inclusive, future‑ready leadership bench.

This role partners closely with senior executives, HR Business Partners, and cross‑functional leaders to align leadership development with business priorities, organizational culture, and succession planning needs. Responsibilities span strategy development, program design, assessment and coaching, leadership pipeline readiness, and application of learning analytics and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership Development Strategy & Governance

  • Define and maintain the enterprise leadership development strategy aligned with business goals, culture, and talent priorities.
  • Utilize and govern leadership competency frameworks and capability models across all levels of the organization.
  • Advise senior leaders on leadership capability needs, organizational effectiveness, and talent pipeline health.

2. Program Design, Delivery & Facilitation

  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve blended learning experiences including workshops, eLearning, virtual sessions, coaching, and peer‑learning formats.
  • Facilitate engaging leadership development sessions for leaders at all levels, including senior executives.
  • Lead design and implementation of enterprise‑level onboarding programs for managers and employees.
  • Leverage modern learning technologies, AI‑enabled tools, and LXPs to enhance learning accessibility and impact.

3. Leadership Pipeline & Succession Support

  • Partner with Talent Management to align leadership development initiatives with succession planning and high‑potential strategies.
  • Build and manage high‑potential development programs and readiness pipelines for future leaders.
  • Oversee leadership assessments such as 360s, diagnostics, and personality inventories; manage vendor partnerships as needed.
  • Provide or coordinate executive coaching engagements to accelerate growth for key leaders.

4. Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong partnerships across HR, business units, and senior leadership to ensure leadership priorities are integrated across the enterprise.
  • Communicate program strategies, expectations, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

5. Measurement, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Define KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven methodologies to measure effectiveness of leadership development efforts.
  • Evaluate programs, identify insights, and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead continuous improvement cycles informed by data, research, and best practices in learning and leadership.

6. Vendor & Partner Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage external vendors, academic partners, coaches, and facilitators to expand capability offerings.
  • Oversee contracts, program management, and quality assurance for all external partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience focused on leadership or organizational development.
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing leadership development programs across multiple levels.
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience engaging audiences at all leadership levels, including senior executives.
  • Experience designing and evaluating learning solutions (workshops, virtual sessions, eLearning, blended learning).
  • Experience using leadership assessments, 360s, or diagnostic tools (preferred).
  • Proven consulting skills and ability to influence leaders without authority.
  • Strong presentation, communication, coaching, relationship-building, and storyboarding skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and professional presence; ability to navigate a growing, global environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Professional certifications (ATD, ICF, SHRM‑SCP, or assessment certifications such as Hogan, Korn Ferry, Insights) highly preferred.
  • Experience in the professional services industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
