Job Description

This Leadership Technical Program Manager role at Google Cloud focuses on Data Analytics. Responsibilities include setting program goals and direction, managing multiple projects, organizing cross-project work, defining program controls, and driving consistency between Cloud and central processes. The role requires strong communication skills to interact with various teams, from executives to engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling execution across multiple teams, driving delivery across the Cloud product portfolio, streamlining processes, and managing objectives and key results (OKRs). Experience in machine learning, leadership, project management, and data analytics is crucial. Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
10+ years in machine learning
7+ years leadership experience
5+ years project management experience
5+ years data & analytics portfolio experience

Good to have:

10+ years managing cross-functional projects
Experience in change management, program management tooling
Excellent communication skills across various levels

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in machine learning.
7 years of experience in leadership roles) with/without direct reports.
5 years of experience managing projects.
5 years of experience in data and analytics portfolio.

Preferred qualifications:

10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
Experience in change management, program management tooling, and new tooling roll-out.
Ability to tailor communication style, from executives to individual engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Set the goal and direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and running multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
Drive consistency between Cloud processes and central processes. Bring visibility and strengthen communication across the teams.
Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery across the complete portfolio of Cloud products and solutions.
Engage with engineering directors, product leaders and other technical program manger groups, to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage objectives and key results (OKRs), release on time, bring tooling for efficiencies and help the teams you are engaged with in execution.
