Your daily life
The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radio communications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is quickly accessible by public transport.
Within the Legal Department of Thales SIX France, your main missions will be:
During the offer phase:
- Examine and analyze the information provided by the client
- Define whether pre-contractual agreements should be concluded (negotiating contracts with the client, partners, subcontractors, or suppliers)
- Evaluate risks and opportunities, especially contractual risks
- Reasonably determine the amount of provisions for contractual risks to include in the price sheet
- Evaluate consistency between the proposed solution, the identified industrial organization for its realization, the content and distribution of contractual lots, and the contractual clauses
During the project phase: the Contract Manager will advise the project manager in the execution of the contract and, as such, will have to:
- Explain the content of the contractual framework to the project team, keep it updated, track and address any discrepancies, and formalize its evolutions
- Identify risks to be eliminated, those that are proven, detect new risks, and generally ensure the proper execution of risk management plans, primarily contractual ones
- Compile and maintain a claims log including all supporting documents related to said claim
- Manage disagreements to achieve an amicable resolution, failing which, prepare the litigation file in conjunction with the Litigation Department
Your profile
You have a higher education degree (Bac +5) in law, business school, engineering school, or a diploma in finance or management.
During your experience, you have developed the following skills:
- Complex contractual negotiation in an international environment
- Contract management for complex projects with high operational and/or financial stakes
- Knowledge of competition law, GDPR, business ethics (anti-corruption, duty of vigilance)
- You have an excellent command of English, both written and oral
