- Ensure maintenance of repositories following project evolutions: obsolescence management, new functionalities, support system evolution, etc.
- Manage assigned work packages: technical and financial progress reporting, presentation of work in progress, action steering, etc.
- Ensure data management and quality are consistent from creation to delivery of documentation packages and files.
- Conduct audits of internal and subcontracted systems.
- Ensure monitoring and maintenance of the applied configuration of systems, spare parts, and repairs.

Your daily life
Located near Orléans, the site is a reference in the support of weapon systems and radars worldwide. It houses engineering, development, and integration activities for air defense systems.
We provide and support systems for air space management and protection. The Life Cycle Support (LCS) department is looking for a project/product Configuration Management Officer for project service activities, based in Fleury-les-Aubrais (45). Configuration management brings together activities that establish, manage, and maintain consistency between a product/system and its documentation throughout its lifecycle.
It is a cross-functional support process for all phases of product lifecycle that allows:
- Methodically managing the elements that characterize a product/system
- Using consistent, validated, and reliable technical data (item, bill of materials, document, evolution)
- Guaranteeing the reproducibility and support of the product/system
Mastery of configuration management is the basis for securing and developing our business.
As a Project/Product Configuration Management Officer at Thales, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating configuration management activities for project service activities, both in development and primarily in support;
- Ensuring the maintenance of repositories following the various evolutions occurring on projects: obsolescence management, new functionalities, evolution of the support system, etc.;
- Managing the work packages entrusted to you: technical and financial progress reporting, presentation of work in progress, action steering, etc.;
- Guaranteeing that data management and quality are consistent from creation to delivery of documentation packages and files;
- Conducting audits of internal and subcontracted systems;
- Ensuring monitoring and maintenance of the applied configuration of systems, spare parts, and repairs.
Your profile
You have a general engineering degree or equivalent and/or experience in:
• Technical data management
• Configuration Management processes and development and production repositories,
• Industrial environment or in development and systems,
• Activity management and reporting
Your interpersonal skills and your ability to lead meetings are recognized assets.
