We’re looking for a hands-on Construction Project Manager to lead the relocation and build-out of our 200+ person creative studio. This is a high-impact role for someone with general contracting, site supervision, and project management experience, who also holds a qualified General Contractor certification recognized in Ontario.

planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and designers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
- Project Management: Lead the overall relocation and construction, creating detailed timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring resources are aligned to meet all goals. Find smart, cost-effective ways to deliver the project efficiently while ensuring the new studio remains high-quality, durable, and functional long-term.
- Relocation Planning: Develop and oversee a seamless relocation plan, ensuring minimal disruption to operations during the move to the new studio space.
- Vendor Coordination & Contractor Relationships: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, including movers, construction teams, IT specialists, and designers to meet the studio's needs efficiently.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the go-to person for all internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns with clarity and confidence.
- Facility Setup: Oversee the setup of workspaces, equipment, and infrastructure to create an optimal environment for our team.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure the new facility meets all regulatory requirements, including safety, zoning, and accessibility standards.
- Problem Solving: Deliver cost-effective, practical solutions, tackle challenges head-on, adapting plans as needed to minimize disruptions and keep things moving smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Qualified General Contractor certification recognized in Ontario.
- Proven experience managing large-scale relocations with hands-on expertise in general contracting, site supervision, and construction project management—experience in creative environments like animation or production studios is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with compliance, building codes, safety standards, and RFP management
- Exceptional project management skills, with expertise in balancing logistical, financial, and creative demands.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, spreadsheets, and related software.
