Must Have

  • Take ownership of employment and corporate matters, including contracts, internal policies, procedures, and inter-company agreements
  • Support commercial contract work (vendor and client agreements)
  • Coordinate with external counsel
  • Support internal compliance initiatives and reporting
  • Handle ad hoc legal tasks
  • Collaborate with the rest of the legal team and other business teams daily
  • Master’s degree in law
  • 3+ years of legal experience after graduation
  • Hands-on experience with employment law and HR-related legal matters
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts
  • Must be based in Vilnius or open to working on-site

We're looking for a versatile, business-minded legal counsel to own employment and corporate legal matters, while also supporting broader commercial work.

You’ll join a small, but growing high-impact legal team in a fast-paced AI startup. If you're a proactive legal professional who enjoys building things from scratch, this is your chance to make a real impact.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of employment and corporate matters, including contracts, internal policies, procedures, and inter-company agreements
  • Support commercial contract work (vendor and client agreements) as needed
  • Coordinate with external counsel, where needed (e.g. for more sensitive cross-border employment issues)
  • Support internal compliance initiatives and reporting (e.g. internal legal processes, investor updates)
  • Handle ad hoc legal tasks - this is a startup, so flexibility is key
  • Collaborate with the rest of the legal team and other business teams daily.

Core Requirements

  • Master’s degree in law.
  • 3+ years of legal experience after graduation, ideally a mix of law firm and in-house work
  • Hands-on experience with employment law and HR-related legal matters
  • Fluency with general corporate hygiene tasks - policies, internal governance, inter-company agreements
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts
  • Strong analytical and structuring skills - ability to break down legal texts, extract key takeaways, and create actionable plans
  • Willingness to draft internal processes or policies (experience is a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - this role requires discretion, collaboration and clarity
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Lithuanian skills
  • Must be based in Vilnius or open to working on-site.

Salary

  • Gross Salary 3400 - 5200 EUR/month
