The role involves strong C programming, shell scripting, and expertise in Linux internals, device driver development, kernel configuration, and debugging. The developer will work on integrating drivers, managing memory, and analyzing performance for time-critical modules within a global team.

Good To Have:

Experience with Touch/Display drivers
Experience with Network and Wifi drivers
Knowledge of U-Boot, secure boot and signing
Experience with Multimedia and Graphics

Must Have:

Strong foundation in C programming and shell scripting
Proficiency in yocto build environment and cross compile toolchains
Experience in developing device drivers
Configuration of kernel and customizing device tree
Integration of driver into overall system
Knowledge of file operations and system calls
Configuration and interrupt management
Memory management in drivers
Basics of power management
Synchronization mechanisms (mutex, semaphores, spinlocks)
Performance analysis for time critical modules
Proficiency in Git (rebasing, commits, creating patches, rule checks)
Experience working with basic communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI)
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
