Sr. Software Engineer (Full Stack – UI)

Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Uniphore, you will be integral to the development and enhancement of data platform that are at the core of our product offerings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, and product managers to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
• Build and optimize backend services and APIs.
• Design, develop and implement AI applications, staying updated on advancements in AI technology, and contributing to the company's AI strategy.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring alignment with best practices in software engineering.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and release.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, Node.js and API development.
• Hands-on experience with the frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Express.js
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Knowledge of database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and programming skills.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices including version control, code review, and test-driven architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated to thrive in a startup environment.
