Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will contribute to this vision by ensuring the efficient and safe operation of automated manufacturing equipment, leading a team of technicians, and upholding high standards in a dynamic production environment. This role includes managing daily operations, training staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental rules.
Must have:
  • Ensure safety rules for maintenance activities (such as LOTO procedure) are known and applied by its team.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are done, respecting Maintenance KPIs targets in its perimeter.
  • Train and mentor Mechanical Technicians and Electrical Technicians in automated equipment repair.
  • Prepare the scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring communication to the Maintenance team.
  • Be responsible for induction of all newcomers in their areas.
  • Ensure the organization and scheduling of training actions so that they are aware of all the procedures, tools and standards.
  • Ensure that their team is trained to Line QRQC, Maintenance QRQC, Maintenance 5 WHYs, red tags use, and that they understand what they have to do and when.
  • Manage daily: absenteeism, holidays, safety rules enforcement, environment risk analysis, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure that standards of reaction are applied with rigor and perform escalation according to standards.
  • Follow up main objectives in monthly meetings with his/her team.
  • Conduct annual appraisals, as well as salary reviews.
  • Ensure enforcement of health, safety, environmental and site rules in its perimeter, and that anybody entering.
  • Ensure existence of updated maintenance work instructions for his/her perimeter.

There are two positions: one Night Shift 7PM - 7AM and one Day Shift 7AM - 7PM

What You Will Do

What You Should Have

  • You preferably have a Bachelor’s degree, but experience in lieu of education will be considered
  • You have 3+ years of experience in Maintenance Supervision for a high-speed manufacturing company
  • Prior or current experience as a Maintenance Technician in a high-speed automated facility
