Job Description

Valeo Podbořany is seeking a Test Technician to plan and prepare tests, order samples, measure part properties, install and document tests, analyze parts, evaluate results, and communicate with internal/external customers. The role requires active English, secondary education, manual dexterity, attention to detail, computer literacy, independence, and teamwork. Must Have:

Planning and preparation of tests, determining the scope of testing and creating test orders
Ordering test samples and fixtures
Measuring part properties
Installation and documentation of tests (in the test lab or test vehicles), setup and commissioning
Analysis of parts after tests, including parts from real operation
Evaluation of results, conclusions from tests, identification of weak points in design, problem-solving
Preparation of reports, primarily in a foreign language (knowledge of PC, MS Office)
Initiating and ensuring necessary changes to tested parts in agreement with the client
Communication with internal and external customers or suppliers
Assembly and testing at the customer or supplier, including abroad
If necessary, undertaking foreign business trips, including e.g. training abroad
Assessing competitive and claimed parts, preparing reports for the client or customer
Maintenance of parts warehouse and disposal of parts in accordance with environmental protection laws
Active knowledge of English language
Complete secondary education
