Senior Engineer – Electronics

Valeo is seeking a Senior Engineer – Electronics in Chennai to design breakthrough solutions for reinventing mobility. This role involves ensuring robust design and validation, reviewing requirements and specifications, supporting technical architecture, and adhering to standardization rules. The engineer will contribute to a greener and more secure future by developing solutions focused on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions, working within a leading global innovative company.

Must Have

• Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL
• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
• In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
• Support technical architecture and standards assignments
• Follow Standardization rules
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests
• Reports the progress of his tasks
• Escalate risks

Accountable for :

• Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL

• Support technical architecture and standards assignments
• Follow Standardization rules
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers

His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product

Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:

• Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests

Management follow-up

• Reports the progress of his tasks
• Escalate risks
