System validation internship offer

This internship at Valeo Amiens, within the Transmission Systems Product Group, focuses on the system discipline at NEMO for a 6-month period. The main objective is to start up a system validation test bench. The intern will coordinate the commissioning of a functional validation bench to evaluate the performance of an electric machine across its full mechanical, electrical, and thermal operating range, and start up/improve the bench's control bay.

Must Have

• Last year of engineering school or Master 2
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in multiphase electric machines
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in power electronics (inverters)
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in CAN communication bus and XCP protocol
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in physical measurements
• Proficiency in English

Good to Have

• Proficiency in Matlab
• Proficiency in CANalyzer
• Proficiency in CANapé
• Interest in automotive

• Within the Transmission Systems Product Group, the Valeo Amiens site comprises a research center and an industrial site. The research center works, among other things, on the development of transmission systems for the electrification of automotive and heavy-duty vehicles.

• Start up the bench's control bay - improve the existing configuration if necessary
