The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out curative maintenance of machinery and equipment, and remedying routine failures, working under direct supervision. This role involves performing first-line repairs on a limited number of machines, assisting engineers with maintenance plans, conducting routine inspections, and troubleshooting basic equipment malfunctions. Adherence to safety protocols is essential to ensure a safe working environment.
Must have:

Job Description

Maintenance Technician 2:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out curative maintenance of machinery and equipment, and remedying routine failures, working under direct supervision.

Your role:

  • Carries out first line repairs on a limited number of machines in one field of work and raises maintenance requests as and when informed about any issue.
  • Assists engineers in implementing maintenance plans and schedules to ensure uninterrupted production processes, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • Conducts routine inspections and curative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to minimize breakdown and improve machine availability.
  • Troubleshoots basic equipment malfunctions and performs necessary repairs to restore functionality, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks, including proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Shift: 3:36 pm to 10:00 pm (Monday through Friday) - 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (Saturday)

You're the right fit if:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in maintenance, ideally with medical devices, or experience in electrical, hydraulic, or similar systems.
  • You’ve completed a High School diploma or vocational/technical education in a relevant field.
  • You bring solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • You are comfortable with reporting tasks and have basic English proficiency for technical documentation and communication.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an onsite role.
