Job Description

PwC Poland is looking for a Manager for their Audit team in Łódź. The role involves comprehensive audit services, going beyond just accounting and reporting, focusing on advisory and leveraging experience, competencies, and technology. The manager will oversee and execute audit projects for Polish and international clients, utilizing knowledge of Polish and international accounting standards, participating in advisory projects, and leading project teams.
Must have:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial statement auditing in an external audit firm.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in managing audit projects.
  • Higher education and in the process of finalizing or holding professional qualifications (Statutory Auditor or ACCA).
  • Excellent knowledge of UoR and IFRS regulations.
  • Highly developed project team management and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Our auditors are advisors who take a holistic view of companies' operations, utilizing their experience, competencies, and technologies in providing audit services. Within this area, we work in General Audit for commercial, manufacturing, and service enterprises. We build lasting business relationships with our clients, thoroughly analyzing their company strategies and operating principles.

We are looking for a:

Manager

Your future role:

  • Supervising and executing audit projects for Polish and international clients (audits and reviews of individual and consolidated financial statements, consolidation packages in accordance with the Accounting Act and IFRS).
  • Practical application of knowledge of Polish and international accounting standards.
  • Participation in advisory projects in the area of accounting and internal control.
  • Leading project teams.

Apply if:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial statement auditing in an external audit firm and a minimum of 1 year of experience in managing audit projects.
  • You have higher education and are in the process of finalizing or hold professional qualifications (Statutory Auditor or ACCA).
  • You have excellent knowledge of UoR and IFRS regulations and are ready for continuous learning and development.
  • You can utilize theoretical knowledge and translate it into practical guidance and proposed solutions.
  • You have highly developed project team management skills and analytical abilities.
  • You are fluent in English.
