Job Description
The Manager, Commercial Finance will ensure revenue recognition aligns with Groupe policies, collaborating with the client servicing team for accurate revenue numbers. Weekly WIP sessions with brand leads are required, maintaining an updated WIP account. Collaboration with GL and Reporting teams for closing, RF, and Commit is necessary. Responsibilities include managing AP and billing teams, resolving anomalies, ensuring billing and remuneration align with client contracts, assisting with internal/external audits, and analyzing client profitability and billing variances. This is a 5-month contract position starting August 1st, 2023, reporting to the Commercial Finance Lead.
Must Have:

- 5+ years experience in creative agency
- Accounting/Finance Degree/Diploma
- Proficient in MS Excel & Spectra

Job Description
- Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with Groupe policies
- Work closely with the client servicing team to ensure the accuracy of the revenue numbers
- Needs to conduct weekly WIP sessions with all the brand leads
- Maintain an updated and “clean” WIP account
- Work with GL and Reporting team for closing, RF and Commit
- Manage AP and billing team
- Resolve anomalies
- Ensure billing and remuneration are in line with client contracts
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Analyze variances in client profitability and billings reports
Qualifications
- Around 5 years’ experience in a Creative Agency
- Degree or Diploma qualification in Accounting/Finance
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Spectra Accounting Software
