Position Responsibilities:
- Overall tactical leadership of the warehouse receiving & material movement team
- Manage the receiving & material movement operations to ensure timely receipt & issuance of materials for manufacturing and order fulfillment
- Collaborate with Procurement to resolve supplier issues impacting timely receipt, driving efficiency, effectiveness of receiving and inventory storage
- Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to improve receiving & material movement processes to meet stakeholders’ requirements and expectations
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead team to develop action plans, with the aim to improve productivity, quality and safety. Drive implementation, tracking and reporting
- Build and develop a highly effective and well-trained team
- Ensure that the team is compliant with the Work Instructions, Quality Management System, Good Manufacturing/Distribution Principles, ISO 13485, MDSAP, MDDAP and Safety requirements
- Manage and develop overall warehouse KPI and control metrics to drive improvements
- Manage all warehouse projects relating to cost saving, process improvement, new warehouse setup and system enhancement
- Manage external 3rd party warehouse to ensure optimal cost, quality & space utilization
- Manage Dangerous Goods & any controlled products - import and storage to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Position Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge/experience in setting up and managing warehousing operations
- Comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of distribution and warehousing processes, controls and best practices
- Comprehensive knowledge of WMS systems and best practices
- Strong knowledge & experience of medical device regulations as applied to logistics
- Strong knowledge & experience with Cold Chain controls
- Strong knowledge & experience in project management
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Principles
- Strong knowledge of business systems, data management and analysis
- Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, MDSAP, MDDAP and GMP/GDP systems, applications and policies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word & Outlook)
- Familiarity & understanding of SAP ERP, WMS, GTS, Process Weaver and Fiori
- Uses an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness to develop and/or apply highly advanced concepts, principles, standards, or techniques to solve challenging business problems
- Ability to lead & develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exercise sound judgement within established guidelines

Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field
- Minimum 5 years of distribution management experience
- Managers at this level will be involved in day-to-day activities where their acquired expertise and knowledge provide focus to subordinates
- Uses interpersonal skills to influence internal stakeholders across various levels
