Role overview:

This role will lead PlayStation Direct commercial activities across 10+ markets in the EMEA region. This individual will be charge of the planning and execution of day-to-day D2C commercial operations, including but not limited to, trading and revenue target delivery/ reporting, assortment strategy and development, support sales forecasting, inventory management, pricing management and promotional activities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Pricing - Support and contribute to defining and managing pricing policy and operations for physical goods and digital items available on the D2C storefront, such as PlayStation hardware, software, peripherals and subscriptions.
  • Promotions - Create strong consumer focused propositions and product lifecycle roadmaps supported by optimal promotional strategies/tactics to drive sales revenue and profit outcomes whilst demonstrating appropriate inventory management / stock turn and driving both attach rates and profit outcomes. In addition, they will identify promotional opportunities via data-driven insights and develop go-to-market plans. This role will collaborate with product management on developing Pricing and Promotional capabilities that create unique customer propositions, such as exclusive discounts, personalised offers, product bundling, and more.
  • Demand Planning - Develop business cases and accurate demand forecasts for promotional activities and new programs to secure approval. Collaborate with sales planning on monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets. Share sales expectations with operations and finance on an ongoing basis to ensure adequate supply chain capacity. Optimise inventory levels to improve sales potential while being mindful of the costs of overstock.
  • Assortment Planning - Provide guidance and leadership to crafting mindful store offering which drives excitement and engagement with our Player community. Partner with First Party, Third Party Studios and our Licensed Products team to build an assortment to meet our player’s needs.
  • Commercial value proposition - Contribute to the improvement and development of PlayStation Direct’s value proposition to drive sales and conversion on site. The role will require strong knowledge on ecommerce trends as well as the ability to support with business case to prioritise and unlock new features.

What we're looking for:

  • 8+ years’ experience in e-commerce roles, preferably for a retailer of consumer electronic goods, video game software, etc.
  • Experience in successfully leading teams to achieve company goals in fast paced business environment
  • Experience in working in a collaborative environment, engaging with multiple functional teams
  • Ability to have a flexible approach to working hours to support global business operations
  • Operational experience using Supply Chain platforms, Commerce tools and Promotional engines, preferably SAP S/4HANA and SAP Commerce Cloud
  • Extensive track record of using data to influence and inform decisions.
