Job Description

Samsung Semiconductor is seeking an Enterprise Segment Marketing Manager for the Memory Product Marketing team. This role involves leveraging deep customer insight and market analysis to develop marketing strategies for key customers across various industries. The manager will collaborate cross-functionally with product planning, business enabling, and commercial organizations to align product offerings with customer needs and market trends. Responsibilities include developing segment and customer-specific strategies to drive revenue and market share growth, with direct interaction and occasional travel to customer sites.
Good To Have:
  • Master’s of Science or Master’s of Business degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Korean language and culture is a plus.
Must Have:
  • Take ownership of a product line within the enterprise SSD segment in North America.
  • Build and execute on customer, segment, product, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Track & analyze key market & customer trends; collect and analyze/forecast customer and segment TAM.
  • Work closely with technical and sales teams to drive new design wins and enable future growth.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to develop product positioning.
  • Create marketing collateral and presentations; provide sales and customer trainings.
  • Collaborate with industry partners & evangelize Samsung Storage products.
  • Work with technical teams on future products and technologies to build the business case, positioning, and go-to-market plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years experience in Engineering or Business discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor/hardware industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic or product marketing in NAND/SSD or a related industry.
  • In-depth understanding of NAND and SSD products, trends, pricing, and end markets.
  • Previous experience with datacenter, cloud, or enterprise OEM customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation and public speaking capability.

What You’ll Do

Samsung Semiconductor is hiring for a Enterprise Segment Marketing Manager for the Memory Product Marketing team You will use deep customer insight, experience, and market analysis to drive the marketing strategy for our key customers, some of the leading companies across multiple industries. You will be working cross-functionally across our product planning, business enabling, and commercial organizations to align our product offerings with customer requirements and market trends. You will be responsible for developing segment and customer-specific strategies to drive revenue and market share growth.

Location: Daily onsite presence in San Jose HQ location in alignment with our Flexible Work policy.

Reports to: Director, NAND/SSD Product Marketing

  • Take ownership of a product line within the enterprise SSD segment in North America.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 15+ years experience in Engineering or Business discipline or Master’s degree with 13+ years experience along with 5+ years of experience in semiconductor/hardware industry.
  • Master’s of Science or Master’s of Business degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic or product marketing in NAND/SSD or a related industry
  • In-depth understanding of NAND and SSD products, trends, pricing, and end markets
  • Previous experience with datacenter, cloud, or enterprise OEM customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are must, including excellent presentation and public speaking capability
  • Familiarity with Korean language and culture is a plus
