Job Summary

The Manager, Solution Engineering at Resolver will support the sales team through discovery calls, RFPs, and post-demo activities to positively impact sales cycles. This role involves coaching and developing the team to achieve company OKRs, ensuring overall preparedness from a Solutions perspective. Key responsibilities include applying product knowledge, crafting and delivering product demonstrations, articulating customer responses, and fostering team development. The position requires collaboration with various internal teams and a focus on conveying product value to prospects.

Must Have

  • Support sales team with discovery calls, RFPs, and post-demo activities
  • Provide coaching and team development to achieve OKRs
  • Stay up-to-date on new product features, bugs, and configurations
  • Craft demo scripts, build demo data, and demo environments
  • Articulate responses to customer questions and RFP functional requirements
  • Prepare and present product demonstrations to meet customer requirements
  • Determine key benefits for customers with internal teams
  • Confidently present Resolver products and services
  • Manage participants within meetings to ensure adequate demo time
  • Rehearse and practice ahead of all demonstrations
  • Motivate the team to exceed expectations
  • Maintain up-to-date development goals for each team member
  • Mentor and coach the team in achieving KRs
  • Work with the team to advance their skills and careers
  • University or College Degree (or equivalent)
  • Leadership acumen with the ability to motivate teams

Position at Resolver

Resolver operates as a hybrid workforce with the option to work at home, in the office, or a mix of both. For this particular position we're looking for someone who can collaborate with the team in person a few times a month!

We are searching for a Manager, Solution Engineering who will support the sales team with discovery calls, RFP’s and post demo activities to positively impact the sales cycles. Also providing coaching and team development to assist with the achievement of both team and company OKR’s. There will be regular intersection with various internal teams ensuring there is overall preparedness from a Solutions perspective.

Your day to day - let's break it down!:

Application of Product Knowledge (40%)

Measure of Success: Win rates, Time-to-go live on new releases, completion of enablement programs.

  • Stays up-to-date of new features, bugs and configuration approaches from product, apps and professional services
  • Works with Application Managers to craft demo scripts, build demo data and demo environments to convey the value to prospects.
  • Articulates responses to customer questions and RFP functional requirements to ensure appropriate coverage and to build confidence in our products/services
  • Prepares demonstrations within Resolver products based on information provided and/or research to meet and exceed a customer’s requirements

Demo’s and Sales Support (40%)

Measures of Success: Time to prep for demo, sales efficiency (demos/opp.

  • Determining key benefits for customers with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Executive Sponsors and the Product team
  • Confidently present Resolver products and services over the phone or in-person
  • Ability to manage participants, colleagues, etc. within meetings to ensure adequate time to demonstrate requirements
  • Rehearsal and practice ahead of all demonstrations

Team Development and Management (20%)

Measure of Success: Team domain and application knowledge, Ramp time for new hires, Individual coaching and performance plans, active gong feedback.

  • Motivate the team to exceed expectations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date set of development goals for each team member and meet with each team member at least monthly to discuss their goals.
  • Mentor and coach the team in the achievement of KR’s.
  • Work with the team to advance their skills and progress in their careers.

What you will bring:

  • University or College Degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience in technology field is preferred
  • Practical experience in fields that our product support is an asset
  • Leadership acumen with the ability of motivate teams

  • The salary range for this role $115,000 - $120, 000 plus OTE
