Job Summary
The Client Marketing Manager for VAS Marketing Indonesia at Visa is responsible for delivering strategic and tactical marketing solutions to clients in Indonesia. This involves actively promoting Visa's Marketing Value Added Services (VAS), leading the design of VAS proposals, forecasting and managing the VAS opportunity pipeline, and collaborating with various internal and external teams. The role also includes leading and implementing consumer marketing projects and co-marketing initiatives to support Visa’s strategic priorities and client businesses, with a focus on driving revenue and margins.
Must Have
- Deliver strategic and tactical marketing solutions to clients in Indonesia.

What a Client Marketing Manager does at Visa
The individual will be responsible for delivering strategic and tactical marketing solutions to our clients in Indonesia by actively promoting VISA’s Marketing Value Added Services and Solutions with strong collaboration with his/her manager, regional Partner Marketing Services team, the Business Development team, and Visa’s Consulting teams.
Importantly, the role will lead and design Marketing VAS proposals to clients and partners, forecast and manage the VAS opportunity pipeline, participate in regional business updates, and work closely with the Business Development team, the regional Partner Marketing Services Team, and external agencies to ensure the effective delivery of revenue and margins.
The secondary scope of this role is to lead and implement consumer marketing projects and co-marketing with clients as assigned to support Visa’s strategic priorities and client’s businesses.
The Client Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Marketing, Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring the “best of Visa” marketing to our key clients and work cohesively with the Visa marketing community locally, regionally, and globally, as well as the Indonesia’s Business Development, Product, Visa Consulting and MS&A teams.
- Develop deeper client partnerships and regular engagements. Generate new revenue streams by providing Marketing VAS holistically including marketing insight, marketing strategy, creative services, marketing execution, media planning and deployment, sponsorships, and marketing consulting services to support client’s objectives of driving acquisition, activation, usage, and retention.
- Generate VAS by activating sponsorship portfolio of global platforms including FIFA and Olympics as well as regional partnerships.
- Be responsible for Marketing VAS client engagements and project proposals in partnership with the respective Business Development Team.
- Work closely with all relevant marketing and finance teams, locally and regionally, and external agencies to ensure the effective delivery of revenue and margins associated to Marketing VAS commitments.
- Manage and report on the revenue pipeline, project status, successes and challenges related to Marketing Value Added Services as required templates and forums. Closely track project implementation and closure for revenue recognition as forecast.
- Take charge of administrative deliverables related to client marketing project management and VAS including but not limited to marketing approvals, procurement processes, contract management and VIK process management in full compliance with Visa’s policy and process.
- Participate in the internal business agenda and activities with strong collaboration with cross-function teams as assigned and act as brand custodian to ensure all marketing materials follows branding guidelines.

Qualifications
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably Marketing/ Communications or equivalent.
- Post Graduate degree (Masters) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience of marketing management and business development, in top-tier FMCG/Financial Services/Payments industry is preferred, and could be from client or agency side.
- The candidate should have proven experience in research. Proven experience in other marketing aspects e.g. creative, media, sponsorship, or measurement, will be an advantage.
- Stakeholder management skills. Especially client-servicing skills, client-centricity mindset. Collaborative mindset in forging partnership with Visa marketing team’s external stakeholders (banks, merchants, governments), and internal stakeholders, is a must.
