Job Summary

Practising Law Institute (PLI) is seeking a Marketing Production Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of marketing projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, on brand, and aligned with the institutional mission. This role manages production workflows for print and digital projects, coordinating timelines, resources, and approvals. Must Have

  • Oversee full lifecycle of marketing production requests (intake to delivery).
  • Track projects using Monday.com, assign resources, and monitor milestones.
  • Proactively monitor project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Manage project routing through stakeholder touchpoints and facilitate feedback.
  • Lead weekly production standup meetings to review status and identify risks.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for quality output and on-time delivery.
  • Support event and conference marketing needs, including exhibition materials.
  • Maintain and organize content library for accessibility and version control.
  • Drive adoption and optimize usage of Monday.com project management platform.
  • Collaborate to identify process improvements and inform capacity planning.
  • 5+ years experience in marketing production or project management.
  • Highly organized, proactive, detail-driven, able to balance multiple deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools, especially Monday.com.
  • Strong understanding of creative development and production (print, digital, video, Adobe, Figma).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working under pressure with fast-moving priorities.

PLI is searching for a Marketing professional to fill the role of Production Manager, Marketing (responsibilities and qualifications are described below). The Marketing Production Manager ensures PLI’s projects move smoothly from request through completion – delivered on schedule, on brand, and aligned with our institutional mission. As the operational backbone of the Marketing department, this role manages production workflows for both print and digital projects, coordinating timelines, resources, and approvals from intake through final delivery. This position is focused on process, execution, and and requires strong cross-departmental collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of marketing production requests: intake, scope, feedback rounds, quality checks, approval tracking, and final delivery – averaging 110 projects per month
  • Use Monday.com to track all active projects, assign internal resources, track milestones and maintain visibility across all projects
  • Monitor project timelines, proactively engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure all deadlines are met without delay
  • Manage routing of all projects through stakeholder touchpoints. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify project specifications, manage expectations, and facilitate timely feedback
  • Lead weekly production standup meetings with stakeholders across departments to communicate the status of ongoing projects, review priorities, and identify bottlenecks and risks
  • Coordinate with external vendors (printers, mail house, production partners) to ensure quality output, accurate estimates, and on-time delivery
  • Support event and conference marketing needs including managing exhibition materials, coordinating shipments, and maintaining inventory of booth assets
  • Maintain and organize content library to ensure accessibility and version control
  • Assist with driving adoption of our new project management platform, Monday.com, and optimize usage
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify improvements to existing processes and share insights that inform capacity planning

QUALIIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing production or project management, preferably in a creative agency or in-house marketing department
  • Extremely organized, proactive, and detail-driven with the ability to balance multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools, proficiency with Monday.com is a must.
  • Strong understanding of creative development and production across print, digital, and video formats in Adobe and Figma
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure and navigating fast-moving priorities and shifting timelines
  • Experience managing logistics for events and trade shows a plus

COMPENSATION RANGE FOR THIS POSITION

$85,000 - $115,000 per annum
