Version 1 is seeking a talented Manual QA Tester to join their Outsystems development team. The role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases, reporting issues in JIRA, maintaining automated test suites, and collaborating with team members. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in testing, strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing, agile methodologies, and database skills (SQL, Oracle). This position is full-time and based in Bengaluru, India, with a hybrid work schedule.
Must Have:
- Design, development, and execution of test cases based on requirements and user stories.
- Reporting and tracking of issues in JIRA or similar platforms.
- Maintaining automated test suites to stay current with new product features.
- Executing test cases and analyzing results.
- Preparing test data and test environments.
- Troubleshooting, isolating problems, and performing root cause analysis.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure software meets user requirements.
- 3-5 years experience in a Test Engineer/Test Analyst position.
- Good knowledge of Functional, non-functional testing, agile software development, and testing techniques.
- Experience reviewing test outcomes and producing relevant documentation.
- Experience in Rest Assured, Postman, or other API testing frameworks.
- Experience working in an Agile manner and in Scrum Teams.
- Good Database Knowledge (SQL, Oracle Database).
- Attention to detail and ability to follow test plans and scripts.

In joining our team of consultants, you will play a key part in the continual research, design and development of our clients’ core products as well as playing a key part in the continual refinement and execution of our client’s dynamic test platforms. - Design, development, and execution of test cases, based requirements and user stories
- Reporting and tracking of issues in the JIRA ticketing system or similar platform, keeping information up to date
- Maintaining automated test suites to stay current with new product features
- Execute test cases and analyse results
- Preparation of test data and test environments to support testing
- Troubleshooting and isolating problems encountered during testing, triage and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure software meets user requirements and is delivered on time.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Test Engineer/Test Analyst position 3-5 years
- Good knowledge of Functional, non-functional testing, agile software development, testing techniques, and the use of appropriate test tools.
- Experience of reviewing test outcomes and producing relevant documentation
- Experience in Rest Assured, Postman or other API testing frameworks
