Job Summary

Version 1 is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join their People Operations team. This full-time role focuses on contracts administration, onboarding, HR systems, and UK and ROI legislation compliance. The administrator will manage the contract lifecycle, ensure IR35 and legal compliance, coordinate across multiple geographies, and engage with various stakeholders including Recruitment, HR, Legal, and Delivery teams to ensure accurate and compliant contract issuance and onboarding processes.

Must Have

  • Draft, review, and process new contracts, extensions, and contractor agreements
  • Maintain accurate records of contract start/end dates, renewals, and compliance documentation
  • Liaise with hiring managers to ensure timely contract issuance and onboarding readiness
  • Apply IR35 classification frameworks (Inside vs Outside) using Version 1’s Model 1 and Model 2 engagement models
  • Coordinate completion of CEST assessments and Status Determination Statements (SDS)
  • Ensure contracts comply with UK Income Tax (Earnings and Pensions) Act 2003 and other relevant employment legislation
  • Support contract administration across UK, ROI, and other geographies
  • Collaborate with Legal and Employment teams to vet subcontractor arrangements and agency-supplied workers
  • Use internal systems (e.g., IRIS, BambooHR, SAP) to track contract status, raise screening requests, and manage compliance workflows
  • Maintain trackers and dashboards for audit readiness and reporting
  • Partner with Legal, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless contract execution
  • Attend meetings to flag contractual risks and ensure alignment with customer expectations
  • Strong understanding of UK and ROI legislation compliance and its implications for contractor engagements
  • Experience in HR administration, contract compliance, or workforce operations
  • Proficiency in documentation systems such as IRIS, SpringCM, and DocuSign
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Intermediate competency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to manage sensitive data with discretion
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

You will collaborate with Recruitment, HR, Legal, and Delivery teams to ensure accurate and compliant contract issuance and onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Lifecycle Management
  • Draft, review, and process new contracts, extensions, and contractor agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract start/end dates, renewals, and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to ensure timely contract issuance and onboarding readiness.
