Senior Test Case Writer

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Test Case Writer with strong experience in automotive Infotainment (IVI) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The role involves analyzing complex system requirements, leading test design activities, reviewing test cases, and collaborating with engineering teams. Key responsibilities include ensuring test coverage, traceability to requirements using tools like Jira, Polarion, or Doors, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in test case design for automotive features and a strong understanding of automotive software development processes.

Must Have

• Analyze complex IVI and ADAS system requirements and convert them into clear, comprehensive, and reusable test cases.
• Lead test design activities, ensuring alignment with industry standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
• Review and validate test cases authored by peers, providing constructive technical feedback.
• Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, and validation teams to ensure requirements clarity and testability.
• Identify gaps in requirements, architecture, and design documentation and drive resolution.
• Ensure full traceability of test cases using tools such as Jira, Polarion, or Doors.
• Support automation teams by providing well-structured test case logic and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing activities.
• Work with global teams and participate in technical discussions with stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Experience in automotive testing (IVI, ADAS, embedded systems, HMI).
• Knowledge of automotive standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262

• Hands-on experience with requirements management tools (Polarion, DOORS, etc.).
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to handle complex system interactions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
