We’re hiring a Marketing Assistant for a hybrid role based in El Segundo, California. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with a leading healthcare client.
In this role, you’ll support the Gynecology Marketing Team by managing internal and external communications, coordinating events, and assisting with marketing operations. You'll work across various functions—from content management and administrative tasks to event planning and sales support—helping ensure the team's success in delivering high-impact marketing initiatives.

Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
Communications & Coordination
Serve as the primary liaison for communications between internal teams, external customers, and vendor partners.
Manage key documentation including purchase orders, inventory and check requests, and general correspondence.
Field incoming inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely and accurate routing to the appropriate teams.
Digital & Administrative Support
Maintain and update the Gynecology Selling site, ensuring all content is accurate, current, and aligned with marketing goals.
Prepare, edit, and format a variety of documents including reports, presentations, and internal communications.
Provide administrative support for team absences and help maintain departmental organization and cleanliness.
Engage in cross-functional training to support team flexibility and growth.
Data & Systems Management
Utilize Salesforce and SAP to run reports and analyze data related to product sales, customer activity, and service history.
Support onboarding of new team members by coordinating SAP setup, IT access, training schedules, and learning modules.
Event & Course Management
Organize logistics for key events such as workshops, training courses, and industry conventions (e.g., ASRM, AAGL), including:
Pre-event planning and coordination.
Attendee registration and tracking.
Vendor and supplier communications.
Catering arrangements and compliance documentation.
Manage hysteroscopy course execution, including:
Equipment coordination and setup.
Physician registration and travel logistics.
Faculty scheduling, honoraria processing, and reimbursements.
Marketing Operations
Maintain inventory of marketing samples, prototypes, and promotional materials.
Support product launches with activities such as validation testing, ZMAT submissions, forecasting coordination, and documentation.
Partner with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives.
Assist in the creation and design of digital marketing content and sales enablement tools.
Sales Support
Respond to inquiries from the sales team with basic product information and support.
Coordinate with Expediting and Logistics teams to manage product availability, including ETAs and backorders.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to resolve product quotes, issues, and customer concerns.
Marketing Assistant Qualifications:
Proven experience in marketing support, administrative coordination, or event management.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with Salesforce and SAP preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and content management platforms.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
