Mattel, a leading global children's entertainment company, is seeking a Marketing Assistant Product Manager Intern for a 6-month period. This role within Mattel France Marketing focuses on managing the market launch of iconic brands such as Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, Scrabble, and Uno, as well as licensed products. Key responsibilities include monitoring sales performance, creating communication materials, updating internal databases, contributing to marketing strategies, and supporting activation plans and events based on brand news and anniversaries. The intern will gain hands-on experience in product marketing within a dynamic environment.
Must have:
  • Sales tracking and performance analysis for several group brands

We are offering a Marketing Assistant Product Manager internship to support us in the development of this activity for a period of 6 months.

YOUR MISSIONS:

Within the Mattel France Marketing department, our objective is to manage the market launch of Mattel brands (Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels, Scrabble, Uno…) as well as licensed derivative products. Your missions will be as follows:

  • Sales tracking and performance analysis for several group brands
  • Creation of communication materials (product sheets, catalog pages, presentations, packaging translation...)
  • Updating internal tools / databases
  • Participation in the development of strategy, media, and promotional plans
  • Support in the deployment of activation plans and events based on brand news (anniversary, brand launch, PR event...)

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

From a commercial or management background (ESC 2nd year, commercial license, Masters…), you have a very good business approach, a developed product sense, and excellent interpersonal skills that you will use in your internal and external contacts.

Your capacities for autonomy and adaptability, combined with your rigor, will allow you to quickly manage all the internship missions. You have ideally already completed a marketing internship which has given you a sense of brand/product culture.

The daily practice of English and French is required for this mission.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

Duration and period: 6 months as soon as possible

Remuneration: €1500 gross per month + 50% reimbursement of transport costs, sustainable mobility package, meal vouchers of €9.45 - On-site company restaurant.

Location: south of Paris in Bagneux (Place de la vache Noire) – near Porte d’Orléans and accessible by RER B and METRO 4 - 10min from Cité Universitaire
