Fortra is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join the team. This individual will assist with and lead a variety of marketing operations projects related to our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Marketing Automation Tool. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, streamline marketing processes, and optimize marketing technology tools. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of driving operational excellence within the marketing ops team. This position will support the entire Fortra marketing organization and is part of the Marketing Operations team, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations.
Must have:
  • Work closely with Marketing Ops leaders on strategy, processes, and execution of marketing automation platform and CRM
  • Facilitate and lead projects to streamline and automate processes as well as drive enablement and efficiency for the marketing team
  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Recommend and implement new features and functionality for improved tool usage and adoption
  • Act as a subject matter expert for marketing team members related to marketing lead flow and processes
  • Coordinate projects with stakeholders across marketing, sales, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and clear communication
  • Support initiatives around data integrity and cleanliness across systems
  • Stay up-to-date on marketing operations best practices, trends, and processes, and coordinate knowledge share trainings with the marketing and sales teams
  • Work with the marketing operations and business systems teams to help field and troubleshoot system issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • At least five years of marketing operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of HubSpot and/or similar marketing automation tool
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
Good to have:
  • Experience working in a hi-tech organization is a plus

WHAT YOU'LL DO

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • At least five years of marketing operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of HubSpot and/or similar marketing automation tool
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience working in a hi-tech organization is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
