JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist, Japan role, based in Tokyo, is responsible for handling multi-channel marketing campaigns to support the business growth of LSEG in Japan. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in event marketing to expand their expertise into digital marketing. Collaborating with global and local teams, the successful candidate will be required to lead campaign plans and choose the most appropriate marketing mix, including events, EDMs, social media, and digital media, to reach the relevant target audience and growing the touch point of them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead execution of integrated marketing campaigns around key business priorities in a manner most relevant for the local target audience and business opportunity in Japan
• Work with global marketing teams, sales teams, and other relevant partners to ensure the global strategies align with regional growth and retention objectives
• Demonstrates various marketing channels such as EDMs, content, digital initiatives and events to drive campaigns with a specific target audience
• Plan, draft, build and activate email campaign for thought leadership content, events and other lead nurturing initiatives using marketing automation tool (Eloqua)
• Support event planning and management
• Handle project budgets and a calendar view of Marketing and Comms campaign activity in automation tool
• Handle agency relationships to support marketing campaign rollout
• Use reporting tools to evaluate the success of campaigns based on various metrics including open rates, click rates, leads, opportunities and revenue
• Help to supervise and analyze the competitor landscape and customer trends, assisting in the identification of unique selling propositions

QUALIFICATIONS

• proven experience in a B to B marketing role with knowledge spanning the marketing toolkit including events, advertising / media, local collateral and content development, and digital channels
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Japanese (native) and English (business level or above)
• Ability to work as a team building relationships with internal and external teams
• Motivated, with a record for taking initiative to deliver results
• Experience with digital marketing tools including Adobe Analytics and Marketing Automation tools (Eloqua a plus)
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs
