Job Description

As a Product Manager at LSEG, you will define product vision and strategy, understanding customer and market needs, analyzing competitors, and prioritizing features to create value and achieve business goals. Your role involves leading product conceptualization with various stakeholders, communicating progress, writing product requirements, prioritizing the backlog, ensuring seamless UX, and performing market research. You will also collaborate with internal and external suppliers, support governance processes, and assist in resolving production incidents.

  • Demonstrable experience designing solutions for user needs or problems.
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex dependencies across partners.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary product teams.
  • Experience working within an agile delivery methodology.
  • Solid English reading/writing capability.

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Product Manager, you will defining product vision and strategy. Understand customer and market needs, analyse competitors and their products, Evaluate ideas and incorporate product feedback and prioritise features to create value for customers and deliver on business goals.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Working with the business to lead product conceptualisation in collaboration with end users, sales, marketing, customer success, risk, legal and senior leadership.
  • Communicating progress, key decisions, compromises, and constraints to a wide range of partners. Rationalising key decisions, gaini consensus-in, and establishing relationships.
  • Communicating the product vision and requirements to the Scrum team and partners
  • Writing product requirements as well as epic and user stories when needed.
  • Prioritising the product backlog, making decisions around ‘releasability’, and advising the Scum team on the direction of travel.
  • Being available to Scrum team members for detailed discussions when needed.
  • Being responsible for the user journey and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensuring seamless and delightful UX. Evaluating UX trade-offs to arrive at strategic decisions.
  • Leading design processes by partnering with designers and artists.
  • Performing market and user research to ensure product-market fit.
  • Collaborating with internal and external suppliers and leading the coordination of vendor contracts.
  • Supporting and driving internal approval, governance, and reporting processes.
  • Feeling comfortable ‘rolling up their sleeves’ to be involved in different aspects of the product development process to ensure successful releases.
  • Supporting the resolution of incidents affecting the production environment by making key decisions quickly. Performing demos, gathering feedback, and ensuring a short feedback loop between releases and new development.
  • Collaborating with other LSEG Product Managers deliver integrations.
  • Willingness to become a subject matter authority in Issuer Services feature sets.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Extensive experience as a product manager/owner.
  • Consistent record of delivering sophisticated products from start to finish (Product specification, UI/UX design, MP definition & delivery, go to market planning and iterative improvements).
  • A good understanding of the technical aspects of delivering web-based products.
  • Proven experience in driving early design concepts and partnering with UX and UI experts to ship stunning user-centric products.
  • Demonstrable experience of taking a significant user need or problem and designing a solution.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading complex dependencies across many partners.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary product teams.
  • Experience in working within an agile delivery methodology and playing a pivotal role in all associated ceremonies.
  • If you have limited financial services experience we encourage to apply as we are looking for individuals that have shipped leading products
  • Solid English reading/writing capability required.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
