General Summary

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
Key Technical Skills Requirement
Candidate should have deep and sound understating of:
- Memory basic design understating for different architectures
- Memory measurement parameters
- Memory timing/power characterization and compiler engine building with all accuracy parameters involved
- Memory power views
- All the LVF/different forms of variation parameter
- Memory lib w.r.t. parameters/arcs/SDF conditions/variation parameters/QA steps/different formats
- Different Simulator tools
- Should have thorough understanding of release process to customers
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Perl
- Good working knowledge of MS excel, PPT
- Mentoring skills to Juniors
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading full/partial memory characterization team
- Representing the team in bigger managerial forums
- Advises senior management on specialized technical issues
- Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results
- Regularly interacts with Senior management or executive levels on difficult matters
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, multi-task and meet deadlines and provide guidance to team for solution
- Should be able to provide specification of new technical requirement
- At-least 10-15 years of experience in memory characterization or circuit designing
- Ability to lead the team of engineers towards Execution
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Should have led the team in the past of minimum 5-15 members team
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with external and internal customers
- Ability to manage conflicts
- B.E/B.Tech/M.tech in Electrical/Electronic from reputed college
