Middle AQA Engineer (Python)

The Middle AQA Engineer (Python) will join a project for FAMIS 360, a leading cloud-based facilities management solution. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining automated test cases using Robot Framework and Python, conducting manual testing, and designing API and UI automation frameworks. The engineer will collaborate with the development team, mentor junior QAs, participate in code reviews, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Must Have

• Strong proficiency in using Robot Framework for automated testing
• Strong proficiency with Python in automation testing
• Commercial or practical experience with Selenium
• Strong understanding of testing processes and Agile methodologies, especially SAFe
• Strong experience working with test management systems

Good to Have

• Familiarity with MS Azure

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in web applications testing with a focus on automation and performance testing
• At least 2+ years of experience as automation QA Engineer
• Strong proficiency in using Robot Framework for automated testing
• Strong proficiency with Python in automation testing
• Commercial or practical experience with Selenium
• Strong understanding of testing processes and Agile methodologies, especially SAFe
• Strong experience working with test management systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor junior QAs.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with MS Azure

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test cases using Robot Framework to ensure functionality, integration, and regression testing
• Conduct manual testing to ensure application quality
• Design and implement API and UI test automation frameworks, making use of Robot Framework's keyword-driven approach
• Write custom Python libraries to extend the Robot Framework for specific testing requirements
• Collaborate with the development team to understand new features and ensure appropriate testing coverage
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members on best practices for automation and performance testing
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality standards for test code
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions
• Generate and maintain detailed test reports, logs and performance metrics
