Mobile Engineer

MVP Factory Technologies GmbH is seeking a freelance Mobile Engineer, primarily focused on iOS, for a fast-moving B2B SaaS MVP build. The role involves owning the end-to-end implementation of the iOS app from a Figma prototype, collaborating with backend/AI engineers for API integration, evaluating technical trade-offs, and building clean, scalable code. The engagement is for approximately 12 weeks, starting immediately, in a remote-first setup.

Must Have

Description

We’re looking for a freelance Mobile Engineer to join a fast-moving B2B SaaS MVP build, focused on helping professionals grow their digital presence through data insights and content recommendations. You’ll work closely with a senior product team to bring a mobile-first experience to life — with an initial focus on iOS.

The foundation for the app is already shaped through a validated design prototype. Now, we’re entering build mode, and need someone who can own implementation end to end — from architecture and component setup to delivery and testing.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of the iOS app implementation from scratch (working from a fully fleshed-out Figma prototype).
• Collaborate with the backend/AI engineer to integrate APIs and ensure data is surfaced reliably in the frontend.
• Help evaluate technical trade-offs (e.g., when to build native vs. shared logic, what’s reusable for future Android versions).
• Build clean, maintainable, scalable code — keeping future extensibility in mind (e.g., Android or web in later phases).
• Support regular demo builds and client handovers with a working, stable app.

Tech & Setup

• Tech stack: Flexible — Swift preferred, but we’re open to React Native or other cross-platform frameworks if it supports future portability
• Project: Cross-functional team of product, design, AI/backend, and delivery already in place
• Collaboration: Daily syncs, remote-first setup, Slack/Notion/GitHub workflow
• Timing: ~12 weeks (full-time preferred), starting immediately

What You Bring
