Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced iOS Tech Lead to lead mobile application development for a major Big 4 Banking project. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying iOS applications, architecting scalable and secure mobile solutions, and driving best practices in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS frameworks. The candidate will also implement DevSecOps, conduct security threat modeling, and mentor developers, ensuring high-quality mobile experiences in a regulated financial environment.
Must Have
- Lead design, development, and deployment of iOS applications for enterprise banking solutions.
- Architect scalable and secure mobile solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Drive adoption of best practices in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS frameworks.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and backend teams.
- Implement DevSecOps practices for mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct security threat modelling and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor and guide developers, perform code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 3+ years in a Tech Lead role.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Deep understanding of iOS SDKs, frameworks, and Apple design guidelines.
- Experience with Xcode, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Animation, and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services, Docker, and EKS for mobile backend integration.
- Proven track record in DevSecOps and secure mobile delivery.
- Strong knowledge of security threat modelling and solution design.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience in financial services or Big 4 banking projects.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API security for mobile apps.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
