Must Have:
  • Define, design, and implement secure network environments that support internal test platforms and project-specific infrastructure
  • Work closely with the corporate IT team to ensure seamless integration between isolated project networks and enterprise systems
  • Define and document network architecture for test and project-specific environments
  • Design and implement secure, scalable network infrastructures
  • Configure network gateways, routing policies, and reverse proxy setups
  • Collaborate with corporate IT to ensure integration and compliance
  • Manage Dell networking hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Implement VLANs, ACLs, and routing policies to protect network traffic
  • Ensure secure access and controlled data flow between environments
  • Conduct risk assessments and apply security best practices
  • Support application testing and deployment with reliable connectivity
  • Manage IP planning, DNS, DHCP, and core network services
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Document network designs and change management procedures
  • Evaluate and recommend new networking and security technologies
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • 7+ years of relevant experience within I.T. Design for networking
  • Proficiency in network architecture design, Dell networking hardware, and security protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to implement secure, scalable network infrastructures and troubleshoot complex network issues
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, apply security best practices, and maintain high-performance network environments
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada without any type of visa sponsorship/transfer
  • Must be a local resident of the greater Ottawa area with ability to work 3 days/week on site

YOUR ROLE

As a Network Engineer on our team, you’ll define, design, and implement secure network environments that support internal test platforms and project-specific infrastructure. You’ll work closely with the corporate IT team to ensure seamless integration between isolated project networks and enterprise systems, with a strong emphasis on security and performance.

In your daily job you will:

  • Define and document network architecture for test and project-specific environments.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable network infrastructures.
  • Configure network gateways, routing policies, and reverse proxy setups.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT to ensure integration and compliance.
  • Manage Dell networking hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, apply security best practices, and maintain high-performance network environments.
  • I.T. Planning, routing policies
  • Dell experience, a plus
