As a Senior Commercial Specialist, you will provide capital investment advice and detailed commercial analysis to assigned business unit client groups. As a Senior Commercial Specialist, you will focus on providing capital investment advice and detailed commercial analysis to assigned business unit client groups. As a senior leader you will be expected to build capability and drive a high-performance culture within your function that effectively contributes to achieving strategic and operational outcomes, with a focus on resilience and economically building for the future with autonomous network management.

What You’ll Do
Global Networks & Technology - Investment Planning and Management will partner with Business unit groups, Finance and Engineering and Commercial teams to provide support in developing and optimising the capital plans to support strategies on the technologies and network investment.
- Collaborate and leverage multiple stakeholders across engineering & commercial, finance and other business units to ensure alignment on key initiatives and outcomes.
- Manage the business until investment governance processes ensuring fast mobilisation and delivery of programs and compilation and completion of investment program reports for the senior leadership team and present poignant executive level commentary and insights.
- Lead components of and contributes to the future year investments plan and in year management of investment initiatives.
- Leverage technology and network knowledge to analyse commercial performance and provide outlook on operational and capital expenditure.
- Leverage effective communication skills to present and articulate data insights and propose recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Identify and raise opportunities and risks/issues that could impact the execution of the investment’s outcomes.
- Apply appropriate problem-solving and analytical tools and techniques that enables Telstra to solve complex business problems and improves standard ways of working which identify and optimise innovation opportunities.
