Must Have
- 3+ years’ experience in Office Assistant, leadership support, and travel/event planning.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, positive, and proactive attitude.
- Strong focus on delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver high-standard operational and administrative support and service in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to keep information confidential with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools or related software.
- Reception duties, meeting and greeting all visitors, ensuring they are correctly logged.
- Proactive management of front-of-house, meeting rooms and hot desk.
- Assisting with travel bookings (flights, hotels, trains, taxis, parking, etc.) for all EMEA employees.
- Monitoring and replenishing office supplies.
- Managing health and safety as well as fire regulations within the office.
- Managing and assisting with organizing social events and team bonding activities, including monitoring and entering of expenses in the budget tracker.

Barracuda Networks Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Office Assistant for our Reading, UK office while providing administrative support of local leadership team and travel & event planning for on-site Sales VPs. This is a key member of the UK team whose role to ensure the smooth running of our office on a day-to-day basis.
You will help drive the efficiency of our business by providing office support and administrative duties. This role will involve coordinating across multiple organizations and supporting a large team onsite in our UK office.
This role requires an independent self-starter who serves as an ambassador and demonstrates sound judgment and establishes a foundation of loyalty through behaviors that inspire trust.
The ideal candidate understands the importance of confidentiality and discretion while simultaneously communicating context to stakeholders. In addition, the ideal candidate is a hands-on team player working to ensure that the office is well maintained, interfacing with local landlords and vendors.

What you’ll be working on
Office Management responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Reception duties, meeting and greeting all visitors, ensuring they are correctly logged.

What you bring to the role
- 3+ years’ experience of a combination of Office Assistant and Support of Local Leadership team and Travel and Event Planning.
- Self-driven, results oriented with a positive and pro-active attitude.
- Strong focus on delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to deliver a high standard of operational and administration support and service in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment.
