Job Description

Goldin, an eBay company, is seeking an experienced Onsite Frontline HR Generalist to join their People Experience Team in Runnemede, New Jersey. This role provides comprehensive HR support across warehouse and office environments, serving as a trusted partner for managers and employees. The Generalist will handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle, drive HR programs, resolve inquiries, support leadership on employee relations, and foster a positive and inclusive culture.
Must have:
  • Build strong relationships with team members and vendors.
  • Drive HR program review and implementation.
  • Respond to HR inquiries from employees and managers.

  • Provide recruitment and onboarding support.
  • Liaison with payroll and People Tech Systems.
  • Mentor and coach People Managers on legislation.

  • Identify and assess training needs.
  • Support HR program delivery, including performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with management on employee feedback.
  • 8+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR policies and US employment law.
  • Willingness to travel to other eBay sites in the US.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Frontline HR Generalist to join our People Experience Team, based full-time onsite. This dynamic role provides comprehensive HR support to eBay entities across both warehouse and office environments, serving as a trusted partner for managers and employees. The People Experience Team, part of the Global People Team, supports more than 7,000 employees across three countries, handling all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruiting, learning and development, compensation, benefits, and shared services. The team plays a critical role in driving business performance, enhancing candidate and employee experiences, and fostering the ongoing growth of eBay’s positive and inclusive culture!

What you will accomplish:

  • Build strong and influential working relationships with important team members including Operations Managers, PBP’s, Legal and external vendors ensuring the delivery of effective, efficient, and professional end to end HR service
  • Drive the review and implementation of HR programs and guidelines in partnership with the broader People team
  • Respond and resolve HR-related inquiries from employees, managers, Centers of Expertise and vendors via email, slack, and in person against agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Support leadership and people managers with all people related matters, including addressing employee Relations issues quickly, effectively and in line with local employment laws and regulations
  • Provide recruitment & onboarding support including CV screening, and interviewing
  • Liaison with eBay payroll and People Tech Systems team on employee issues as needed
  • Mentor and coach People Managers providing expertise regarding employment legislation, compliance, and operational effectiveness and improvements
  • Facilitate ongoing proactive and reactive listening through interviews, focus groups, 1:1s. Synthesize insights and provide to applicable partners
  • Identify and assess training needs and support with the development and roll out of training programs
  • Support the People Business Partner with HR program delivery, including the performance review cycle process and goal setting
  • Collaborate with management to address employee feedback and concerns, fostering a culture of open communication and continuous improvement

What you will bring:

  • 8+ years’ experience working previously as a HR Generalist
  • An excellent practical knowledge of HR standard methodology policies and procedures and employment legislation in the US
  • Willing to travel to other eBay sites in the US when required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Be approachable, personable, energetic, conscientious with the highest standard of integrity. A people person with a growth mindset, accessible and open to our team members, always willing to listen, assist and support with an overall customer centric approach to the HR service delivery
  • Attention to detail & a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • A passion for helping people by coaching, mentoring & supporting the business units
  • An individual with a sense of ownership and responsibility with a proven record of working on their own initiative
  • Ability to influence without authority and able to effectively hold both employees and management accountable for their actions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influence skills are essential to stand firm in adverse and challenging situations
  • Organized, innovative and results driven with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic, fast paced environment with productivity skills to deliver to deadlines is essential

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$84,800 - $146,900

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
