Job Description & Summary
Within a department of about twenty people, you will report to the Operational Management Control Manager for the TLS (legal professions) and Deals (transactions professions) scope.
You will be responsible for the quality of analyses and the reliability of data communicated within your scope, and will participate in arbitrations as well as the financial monitoring of operational actions and decisions impacting results.
You will actively contribute to the transformation of tools and continuous process optimization projects, aiming for effective operational and financial management of the firm.
What you can expect from the mission:
Monitoring Business Unit performance
- Become a Business Partner, i.e., determine optimization areas, alert and assist operations in prevention or remediation.
- Develop relevant analyses.
Supervision and control of accounting closings
- Perform reconciliations and controls.
- Provide accounting with extra-accounting elements to be integrated.
- Develop controls and indicators to be implemented.
- Guarantee the reliability of financial information flows.
Analysis and reporting
- Obtain and collect information likely to impact accounts.
- Analyze monthly performance by studying deviations in results compared to Budget/Forecast.
- Comment on activity, particularly salient facts impacting performance.
- Develop and implement reporting tools.
- Present monthly results to partners.
Development and management of the budget / forecast / PMT process
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize budget data from profit centers.
- Integrate data into the budgeting tool in compliance with the framework, and present the restitution to partners.
Participate in cross-functional Finance LoS and/or management control projects
- Identify needs (information flows, configuration), implement or optimize information systems / LoS or Firm models.
- Participate in transformation (automation / data analysis).
What we expect from you:
- Bac+5 degree, you have a minimum of 2 years of experience in audit or management control.
- Business orientation and communication skills / strong interpersonal skills.
- Rigor, analytical skills, and synthetic mind.
- Ability to interact with high-level stakeholders.
- Project management and continuous improvement skills, to participate in the permanent improvement of processes and tools.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of transformation and tools (SAP, Anaplan, Power BI,...).
