As a Regional Analytics Operations Analyst, you will collaborate on scaling marketplace levers nationally, such as incentive spend. This highly analytical role involves leveraging rich datasets to generate insights and recommendations that significantly impact customers, shoppers, and retailers. You will build, test, and scale centralized processes to optimize reliability and unit economics across Shipt’s products, ensuring a healthy balance of supply and demand.

Must Have

  • 3 years experience in analytical and strategic roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/GSheets, Tableau/Thoughspot, and SQL (or willingness to learn)
  • Experience working on complex projects with demonstrable/quantifiable results
  • Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally, interacting with stakeholders, and gaining buy-in

Job Description

Impact

As a Regional Analytics Operations Analyst you will collaborate on efforts to scale marketplace levers, such as incentive spend, nationally. In this highly analytical and collaborative role you will leverage our rich datasets and generate insights and recommendations that have a material impact on our customers, shoppers, and retailers. While no two days are the same you will be responsible for building, testing, and scaling centralized processes to optimize reliability and unit economics across Shipt’s products. You will collaborate with partners in Data Science, Finance, Product, and Regional Operations to ensure a healthy balance of supply and demand. You will analyze and influence regional incentive efforts that maximize spend efficiency at scale. You will build and automate reporting dashboards, delivering on-demand insights, as well as leverage best practices in data visualization, automation, and documentation, in building self-serve resources. You will also lead ad-hoc work streams such as market deep dives, root-cause analysis, and strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • You have 3 years experience in analytical and strategic roles.
  • You have technical skills and are data-driven with advanced proficiency in Excel/GSheets, Tableau/Thoughspot, and SQL (or willingness to learn).
  • You have experience working on complex projects with demonstrable/quantifiable results.
  • You have a proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally, interacting with stakeholders, and gaining buy-in.

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis.
