Job Description

Haleon is seeking an Oral Demand and Supply Planning Manager to join their team in Shanghai, China. This role is crucial for improving everyday health by managing the demand and supply planning processes for the Oral category. The manager will support IBP processes, lead daily and weekly supply planning, monitor supply risks, manage DC inventory, and collaborate on NPI launches. The position also involves leading RDC inventory management and key customer supply chain management to ensure business growth and optimal service levels.
Must have:
  • Support Oral Demand & Supply Senior Manager on category IBP process.
  • Help line manager on monthly demand planning process for part channels in Oral.
  • Lead daily and weekly supply planning process to monitor supply plans.
  • Escalate supply risk and develop mitigation plans.
  • Lead to work with sites/planning hubs for regular capacity planning analysis.
  • Owner of DC inventory for responsible business unit.
  • Work with NPI/relaunch project managers for successful launch.
  • Work with RA to ensure supply to business per regulatory requirements.
  • Monthly submit total Oral category provision report to finance audit team.
  • Own master data accuracy and ensure correct maintenance in systems like SAP, art-work system.
  • Lead RDC inventory management.
  • Daily review RDC inventory replenishment plan.
  • Lead Oral Key Customers’ Supply Chain Management.
  • Accountable for Oral direct supply Key Customers’ supply chain activities.
  • Set up direct supply Key Customers’ supply chain KPI dashboard.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Demand & Supply Planning: Demand planning: support Oral Demand & Supply Senior Manager on category IBP process

  • help line manager on monthly demand planning process of part channels in Oral, including historical actual sales analysis, FA loss reason analysis & action plan & tracking action planning implementation status etc.
  • demand planning related monthly system operation & master data maintain if need
  • Future IBP project (incl. system & process etc) design、testing、implementation、go-live and future use as usual
  • Monthly category KPI dashboard input & support line manager on continuous improvement/optimization in line with business expectation for responsible category (Forecast accuracy/bias enhancement, On time in full, inventory optimization, cost to serve, provision management & optimization. etc.)

Supply Planning: owner of the category supply planning process to support business to achieve business target

  • Lead daily and weekly supply planning process to monitor supply plans and escalate supply risk and develop mitigation plans in the first time, then deliver business (e.g. OTIF, sales target, etc.)
  • Lead to work with sites/planning hubs for regular capacity planning analysis to improve supply reliability and responsiveness, esp. once any supply/service risk for importation products, can lead team to work out solution
  • DC inventory owner for responsible business unit and drive inventory target delivery
  • Work with NPI/relaunch project managers and project team to support NPI successful launch and all hard and soft conversions with target OTIF, and keep continuous improvement of inventory & service level after launching
  • Work with RA to ensure supply to business when do changes per regulatory requirements
  • Monthly submit total Oral category provision report to finance audit team, can take lead slow moving stock & aging stock clearance plan, regular work with supply planning team/planning hub and commercial team to minimize the business wastage, and highlight and escalation risk once any
  • System management,own master data accuracy and ensure correct maintenance in systems like SAP, art-work system, etc., and can work with IT for solution if any system issue

RDC inventory planning: lead RDC inventory management

  • Daily review RDC inventory replenishment plan to secure Customer service level & reasonable/healthy inventory level
  • Weekly/monthly system master data setting/review to ensure correct/reasonable system result
  • In-time/correct master data setting to support NPI launch on-time

Lead Oral Key Customers’ Supply Chain Management (incl. but not limited, new supply chain process set-up/implement for direct-supply Customers, continuous service level improvement for global strategy Customer-Watson’s, etc.) and initiate/implement customer value creation projects together with Customers Accountable for Oral direct supply Key Customers’ supply chain activities to support business growth and improve key Customers’ service levels at optimal costs Set up direct supply Key Customers’ supply chain KPI dashboard and lead regular review and drive continuous improvement; support implement new direct-supply Customers if need Take lead to continuous enhancement of service level of global strategy Customer-Watson’s together with internal team/external Customer, also take lead for monthly review with Customer for better satisfaction with Customer Collaborate with internal cross-functional team and external Key customers to improve internal and external processes and procedures and drive customer value creation projects Support NPI launch on-time for direct supply Customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Familiar with Supply Chain knowledge & Basic Financial knowledge
  • With 3+ years’ experience in demand planning or S&OP process
  • With 2+ years’ experience in supply planning, importation supply planning is preferable
  • With 2+ years of direct management of NKA customers, preferably in FMCG industry
  • Familiar with SAP APO/ECC system, IBP is preferable
  • Good communication skills, positive thinking, dependent working
  • Can work under pressure
  • Strong data, analysis capability, business insight
  • Fluent in English
