Order Management-Shanghai

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions, designing, building, and servicing equipment for chip and advanced display production. This role in Shanghai involves creating and maintaining accurate sales orders and quotations in the ERP system, handling customer inquiries, generating reports, and tracking orders. The position requires developing an understanding of customer requirements and basic knowledge of AMAT products, contributing to the quality of work within the team.

Must Have

• Create under limited supervision quotations/opportunities in ERP system and provide to customer.
• Create under limited supervision and maintain accurate Sales Orders in ERP.
• Escalate and follow up on customer requirements not being met.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, e-mail, and fax.
• Generate reports & track orders, opportunities, booking and shipment.
• Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline.
• Understands key business drivers.
• Solves problems in straightforward situations using technical experience and judgment.
• Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
• Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create under limited supervision and maintain accurate Sales Orders in ERP
• Escalate and follow up on customer requirements not being met
• Handle customer inquires via phone, e-mail, and fax
