Egnyte is seeking an Order Management Specialist in Mountain View, CA for a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office. This position is crucial for ensuring accurate and efficient customer onboarding by processing signed contracts, managing sales orders in Salesforce and the billing system, and resolving discrepancies. The specialist will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success teams to address contract accuracy, system issues, and deployment bottlenecks. Responsibilities include supporting month-end close, assisting with financial reviews, adapting to product changes, and managing multiple priorities. The role is key to revenue recognition and company growth.
Must have:

Our Order Management team is responsible for turning signed contracts into accurate, activated customer accounts. This team is essential to our revenue operations, ensuring customers are deployed on the right plans, billed correctly, and set up for a smooth experience from the start. You’ll help drive operational excellence by processing contracts, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and working cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help ensure our customers are onboarded correctly and our business runs efficiently. This role is a critical part of how we deliver value to customers and recognize revenue — your work directly supports the company’s growth and success.
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Review orders and contracts in Salesforce to ensure compliance with product structure and internal policies.
  • Process and manage sales orders and contracts in both our internal billing system and Salesforce
  • Identify and resolve issues related to contract accuracy, system discrepancies, and application or deployment errors
  • Monitor and manage the inquiry queue, ensuring timely responses within defined SLAs for both internal and external partners
  • Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Deal Desk, and Finance to resolve non-compliant orders and remove deployment bottlenecks
  • Support month-end close activities and assist with quarterly financial reviews and audits
  • Stay adaptable as our product offerings evolve, with the ability to handle technical and contractual changes
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to process documentation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the department
  • Hybrid work model - 3 days per week at our Mountain View office
 
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and data validation)
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce; experience with Salesforce Billing is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Clear communicator with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
 
COMPENSATION:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $80k - $100k annually. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience. During the interview and/or hiring process, your recruiter can share more information about the compensation package specific to the role and job location.
