Job Description

We are seeking a Workday HCM Functional Consultant with over 8 years of overall experience in HR, including at least 5 years specifically with Workday. The role requires expertise in the Hire to Retire process and a deep understanding of Workday's Core HCM, Recruitment, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Benefits Administration, Payroll, and Security modules. Responsibilities include building and testing Core HR Business processes, configuring security, managing security changes, creating and managing Supervisory Organizations, Staffing Models, and custom organizations. A good understanding of Domain security policies, Business Process security, and end-user security is essential, as is familiarity with integrating Workday with payroll applications like ADP. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, modifying, and enhancing existing business processes, as well as advanced and custom reporting. Experience with creating custom business objects, calculated fields, and data loading is also required. Collaboration with HR leaders, stakeholders, and functional teams to gather requirements and identify system improvement opportunities is key.
Must have:

  • Expert in overall Hire to Retire process.
  • Deep understanding of Core HCM, Recruitment, Talent & Performance, Core & Advanced Compensation, Benefits Administration, Business processes, Payroll and Security aspects of Workday.
  • Ability to build, test, validate Core HR Business processes.
  • Ability to configure security per Business requirement and manage security related changes in bulk.
  • Expert in creating & managing Supervisory Organizations, Staffing Model, and custom organizations.
  • Good understanding of Domain security policies, Business Process security and end-user security
  • Good understanding of integrating Workday with other Payroll processing applications like ADP.
  • Able to configure new BPs, modify & enhance existing Business processes
  • Expertise in advance and custom reporting
  • Able to create custom business objects, calculated fields and load data to serve various business needs.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders, HR Business Partners, HRIS analysts, stakeholders, and functional teams to understand their needs, document technical requirements, and determine configuration options
  • Lead or participate in interactive discussions regarding best practices, business process development, or configuration options across various Workday HCM modules

Identify system improvement opportunities and propose actionable recommendations
