Job Description

This role involves providing third-party retirement plan administrative and consultative services. Key responsibilities include establishing, maintaining, and managing retirement plans, producing policies, preparing filings, and ensuring accurate IRS reporting. The Senior Associate will perform and oversee daily administration tasks such as plan design, compliance testing, auditing, and problem resolution. The position requires applying developed knowledge, following company procedures, and understanding when to deviate from standard practice, with moderate supervision.
Must Have:
  • Offer third-party retirement plan administrative and consultative services for plan sponsors, participants, broker/dealers, and/or external third-party administrators.
  • Establish, maintain, and manage retirement plans.
  • Produce policies and procedures for third-party administration.
  • Prepare filings and ensure accurate and timely IRS reporting and recordkeeping.
  • Perform and oversee day-to-day retirement plan administration (e.g., plan design, plan amendments, transactions, inquiries, education, problem resolution, compliance testing, auditing, research, correspondence, analysis, administrative software upkeep, auditor coordination, conversions).
  • Apply developed knowledge and job skills, and follow defined company policies and procedures to complete tasks.
  • Understand when to deviate from standard practice.
  • Requires moderate supervision on daily work and detailed instructions on new tasks.
  • Minimally requires a high school degree and 1 year of related experience.
